Leoz Weng

Leoz Weng (b. 1978) is a contemporary artist based in Taiwan. The "komori elf" ("garden elf") in Weng's pastel-rich works comes from a dear childhood friend and the artist's imagination. By bringing this fantastical figure to life, Weng hopes to soothe and improve desolate and afflicted hearts, including his own. The gleaming but dreamy pupils and heavy eyelids evoke hope even on the most ordinary of days.
